Frequently Asked Questions
Shipping
Fibremorphology ships from Canada to Canada, the US, Australia, and select Non EU countries in Europe by default. Please reach out for shipping inquires to any other location.
As of Sept 2026, I am not accepting in-stock orders to EU countries. Custom requests may be available on a case by case basis.
After the package makes it to the shipping provider, I cannot provide you any information on its status apart from what is publicly available on the tracking. Please contact the shipping provider for assistance for any issues.
I offer a local pickup option ONLY if you have already made arrangements with me beforehand. If this option is selected without my knowledge, your order will be refunded.
US Tariffs
My products are covered under CUSMA AND are not subject to the 50% tariffs set in place August 2026. As of September 2026, I have sent test packages of both yarn and fibre with no excess bills to these US states: MA, NV, CA, VA, CT, NY, UT, MN.
However, I cannot guarantee there won't be any changes made after the date of my test packages. Therefore I cannot reimburse any additional charges you may receive upon receipt.
Returns or Refunds
Fibremorphology is a tiny operation which means I am unable to accept returns or exchanges.
Any packages refused will not receive a refund. If your item was lost or if you received the wrong item, please contact me with your order receipt and I will work with you to work towards a solution. Please note that any remedy may not be a direct replacement as I do small batch production and my supplies are not always readily available.
All other disclaimers
FIbremorphology uses wool straight from the sheep. Expect vegetable matter in small quantities.
Certain breeds are more felt resistant than others, but to be safe, proceed as if the wool will felt if you breath too loud. That means wash with gentle soap in lukewarm water and little agitation, and hang or lay flat to dry.
You may experience some bleeding on more saturated colours or with certain sari silk colours. It is recommended to wash finished skeins or knits on their own.
My home is non smoking with no pets, but I may stock collaborations that may have originated in different conditions.
All my photos are taken in natural lighting. Sometimes in the warm golden hour of sunrise so you may get a slightly different coloured batt than what is shown.
What does Fibremorphology look like
Fibremorphology is a small batch operation originating in my apartment in Toronto. I source the majority of my fleece from local farms, from all over Canada, or imported from international producers. Regardless of origin, I make sure to speak to each farmer to extend my appreciation for what they do. I lovingly scour, card, and dye every batt in my aforementioned apartment, with some exceptions for my mill collaborations with Derek and Jeanette at Gezellige Farm & Mill.
I am incredibly appreciative for my support system online and in person. To my parents for driving me everywhere until I get my license, to my strongest believers Jacqueline and Ingrid for being so encouraging when I'm secretly second guessing my place as a business, and to everyone who has connected with me with support and kindness. I am as introverted as they come, but in my times of silence, know that my heart is full of love for this community.
